Built in 2017 in the Ashanti region of Ghana, our hatchery has been equipped with state-of-the-art EMKA and Petersime hatchers and setters. The hatchery can be located off the Kumasi – Bibiani road few metres away from the Mpasatia Township.
Our weekly capacity is 75,000 Plymouth rock (Black and White) hatching eggs. Biosecurity is kept at highest level in order to produce high quality Plymouth rock day old chicks.
Our hatchery is well equipped with five (5) hatchers and five setters respectively. This includes two (2) EMKA setters and 2 EMKA hatchers as against three (3) Petersime setters and 3 Petersime hatchers. Our setter capacity stands at 326,400 whilst our hatcher capacity is 86,400.
We are currently running as a commercial hatchery and accept eggs from various farms within Ashanti region. The hatchery is generally into the production of black and white cocks (Plymouth rock). We are however looking at the production of Brown layers, broilers and more in the coming year.
